Plenty of gutter companies quote a vague range over the phone and settle the real number at your door. We publish ours. As of July 2026, gutter cleaning cost works out like this:

National surveys put professional gutter cleaning at $0.95 to $2.25 per linear foot; a flat dollar sits at the value end. The two-story rate covers the second-floor roofline and the ladder safety setup that height demands.
Black tiger stripes down the outside faces? That is gutter brightening, discounted whenever we are already on your gutters. Bundle with a house wash and save about 10%.
How we do it
How we clean gutters: inspect, clear, flush, prove it
Every job runs four steps.
- Walk-around gutter inspection. We review every run first, noting sag, standing water, and trouble spots.
- Clear the gutter debris. Blower, by hand, or with water, whichever pulls the leaves, pine needles, twigs, and roof grit out fastest.
- Flush every downspout. Gutter flow testing confirms each downspout drains and water flow moves away from the house. A clear channel with a plugged downspout is half a job.
- Clean up, then show you photos. Gutter cleaning makes a big mess on the driveway and around the house. We always pick that up, so it is not your responsibility. You get before and after photos from the roof. Every job.
You paid for professional service; you should not need to climb a ladder to verify it. The photos also catch leaking seams, sag, soft fascia. We sell no gutter repairs, so a flag from us means you need to know, not that we want the job.

Have gutter guards? Read this first
Guarded and mostly clear? We pull the light debris that sneaks through, flush standing water, and confirm the downspouts run. That is normal gutter service for a guarded home. Guards reduce cleanings. They do not eliminate them.
Packed solid under the guards? We will tell you straight: that is the installer's job. Pulling a guard system risks damage, so we document the condition with photos and point you back to the installer. We sell no guards either, so the read you get comes with zero sales pitch.
