How this list works (and why we're on it)
Same deal as our pressure washing rankings: this list lives on our website, we put ourselves at number one, and you deserve to know that up front. Every other company here is real, verifiably cleans solar panels around Rocklin, and gets described from facts published on its own website, including the services they offer that we do not. Three of the four install bird proofing. We don't. That is on the page in plain English.
One thing worth noticing: every company on this list cleans with deionized water and soft brushes. That is the manufacturer-approved method, and anyone pitching you a pressure washer or soap should be shown the door. So the real comparison is everything around the wash.

The strongest pure specialist on this list, headquartered right here on Lonetree Boulevard. Suns does solar and only solar: cleaning with deionized water and Sola-Tecs rotating brushes, bird proofing with galvanized steel mesh installed without drilling, and even paint overspray removal from panel glass. They publish a residential range of $100 to $350, advertise licensed, bonded, and insured status, and cover five counties from Placer down to Yolo.
If your job is panels plus pigeons and nothing else, they are the obvious second quote to get. For panels plus the rest of the exterior, a specialist means booking a second company.

Pure Solar Clean (Rocklin & Chico)
Pure Solar Clean runs a Rocklin location with headquarters up in Chico, and their bird proofing pitch is the standout: SolaTrim barriers backed by what they advertise as a lifetime warranty. Cleaning is chemical-free deionized water, and the service menu extends to pressure washing, roofs, gutters, and windows. Their coverage map is the widest here, seventeen cities from Yuba City to El Dorado Hills.
Pricing is quote-only through their contact form, so budget shoppers will want a number in hand from a company that publishes rates before comparing.

Another Rocklin-based outfit, built around the solar-plus-gutters combination. They clean panels with tested deionized water and specialized brushes, and the add-on list is practical for foothill-adjacent homes: bird guard installs around arrays, roof spikes and deterrents, gutter guard installation, and window washing. They advertise California licensing and insurance for residential and commercial work.
Like Pure Solar Clean, pricing is by quote. Get their number when gutters and bird control are part of the same problem.

Sierra Vista Maintenance (Fair Oaks)
The veteran of the list. Sierra Vista has been operating since 2010 out of Fair Oaks, holds a California contractor license (#1090384, per their site), and cleans panels with deionized water and soft brushes as one line in a long exterior menu: windows, gutters and gutter guards, roofs, driveways, house washing, even chimneys and air ducts. Their service map runs from Elk Grove to the Auburn foothills, with Rocklin and Granite Bay named directly.
The generalist trade-off applies: solar is one of a dozen services, not the specialty. For an older home that needs many things handled by one established vendor, they have the longest track record here.
Before you book
How to choose between them (three questions)
- Does the price exist before the visit? Two companies on this list publish numbers: us at $15 per panel, Suns at $100 to $350. Quote-only pricing is not a red flag, but it is a second phone call.
- Panels only, or the whole roofline? Specialists go deep on panels and pigeons. If the gutters, windows, and driveway are due too, a bundle from one crew usually beats three bookings.
- Ask what happens before the wash. A cracked panel that gets scrubbed is still cracked, and now it is wet. Whoever you hire, ask whether anyone looks at the array before cleaning it. Our answer is on our Rocklin solar page.
